Destruction Derby was released October 31, 1995 developed by Reflections Interactive and published by Psygnosis. It was a vehicular combat game for the MS-DOS, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and Nintendo 64. In Destruction Derby You are to destroy other vehicles with out getting destroyed yourself.
The best part of the game to me was that you actually damaged yourself when hitting the other cars, because that made it more realistic. In real life you don't crash into a car at thirty miles per hour and your car is fine but theirs is wrecked. You would get damage done to your car. My least favorite part is the destruction races when you get first place in the racing part but did not get any damage done and lost because the only thing that counts is the damage and it is hard enough to get damage done.
It also had two sequels:
Destruction Derby 2 which was released October 31, 1996 and
Destruction Derby 64 which was released in 1999. I give this a
WakaWakaGamer score of 8 out of 10.
IGN gives it a 7 out of 10 and finally the community gives it a 7.6 out of 10
